Launched in 2018, the Active Duty Spouse Program from American Corporate Partners (ACP) has worked to pair some of the 600,000 spouses of active-duty military up with a “year-long, customized, one-on-one mentorship.” Through the program, mentors are hand-selected to offer career coaching in personally relevant professional development, interview preparation, and networking skills.

2.Blue Star Families

Blue Star Families was founded by military spouses in 2009 to “empower these families to thrive…overcoming the isolation of frequent moves and the economic insecurity” that frequently accompanies a military lifestyle. Here, military spouses will find “comprehensive education and career guidance.” One of its many support areas is career coaching and exploring scholarship opportunities.

6.Military Spouse Advocacy Network

The Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MASN) collaborates with official military resources and partner organizations to help ensure that “no spouse is left behind.” Through mentorship,military spouses can locatean advocate to help navigate the employment hurdles they face.From assistance with state-to-state licensing requirements to leadership development opportunities, MASN is advocating for our military families one at a time.

7.Military Spouse Corporate Career Network

The Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) is dedicated to connecting military spouses to career opportunities. Understanding the challenges firsthand, MSCCN was created by a military spouse to help combat the impact that constant relocation and military life create on employment opportunities for U.S. military spouses worldwide. Focusing on portable careers, MSCCN providesemployment referrals, job-placement solutions, and job programs for military-affiliated individuals

8.Military Spouse Employment Partnership
