Established in 1979, Family Resource Associates - FRA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities reach their full potential. FRA works with people of all ages born with developmental disabilities or delays as well as those who have acquired disabilities in their lifetimes. Based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, Family Resource Associates maintains an addition location in Brick, New Jersey and serves clients throughout the Monmouth and Ocean Counties with modern therapies and technologies to help them achieve the highest levels of independence possible. FRA also provides support and educational services to families and siblings of people with disabilities.

Family Resource Associates offers a broad range of programs and services including home-based early intervention for infants, assistive technology services, and therapeutic recreation programs. TECHConnection is a popular program offered by FRA that helps people of all ages and abilities learn to use the computer. Family Resource Associates has been designated as the only MARC Center (Microsoft Accessibility Resource Center) in New Jersey.
