Easterseals North Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a history dating back to 1939 with the formation of Easterseals of Greater Dallas. In 1947, Easterseals Greater Northwest Texas was established. In 2005, United Cerebral Palsy merged with Easterseals Greater Northwest Texas, and in 2007, the Fort Worth and Dallas Easterseals affiliates merged to create Easterseals North Texas.

With a longstanding history of providing its community with services and programs for individuals with a range of disabilities, Easterseals North Texas is dedicated to serving those with Alzheimer’s disease, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental delays. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, Easterseals North Texas serves over 5,000 individuals across a 37-county service area and operates additional offices in Carrollton, Dallas, and Grapevine, Texas. Services and programs provided by Easterseals North Texas are offered in client homes, community locations, workplaces, and throughout its four centers, which are centered around the five main areas of camping and recreation, adult and senior services, children’s services, employment and training, and medical rehabilitation.
