The East Bay Community Action Program-EBCAP is a 501 (C) (3) private, nonprofit corporation that provides citizens of Rhode Island's east bay a variety of high-quality, comprehensive and accessible health and human services. Services and programs include Head Start and Early Head Start, the Ocean State Senior Dining Program, health and dental, Foster Grandparents, food pantries, WIC, youth programs, heating and energy and the East Bay Coalition for the Homeless. The East Bay Community Action Program is governed by a 21-member board of directors made-up of members of East Bay's community including representatives from the public sector, business, consumers, labor, education and minority groups.
